I HAVE A CYST ON THE LEFT FOOT, BUT AFTER A WEEK ON MY FEET I HAVE SEVERE PAIN IN RIGHT FOOT
AND CAN BARELY WALK I SEE SOME SWELLING AROUND ANKLE AND AM THINKING IT COULD BE ARTHRITIS AND AM THINKING IT COULD BE MORE THEN THAT?? MY LEFT ANKLE IS ALSO SORE, ALSO
MY MOTHER SUGGEST NOT TO WEAR FLIP FLOPS AROUND THE HOUSE WORKING.

In my opinion yes do an x ray but more important is urine analysis to check for gout or other kidney problems
Rheumatoid to start in your age is unlikely also does not usually start in ankle
Untill then use an anti inflammatory
Remember to drink lots of water before the urine test

yes,you need to get an xray done surely.
it can be primary arthritis or a secondary arthritis due to osteoporosis,rheumatoid arthritis or raised uric acid levels.
get blood tests ( CBC,uric acid,CRP and RA test) done.
anti inflammatory analgesics,with compression bandage and local gel/hot fomentation will help.

If there is no recent injury of falling or ankle twisting I do not think you need an xray..
It is more likely a disorder related to autoimmune or kidney disorder..or just electrolyte imbalance..
Do you have varicose veins in your feet or legs?
Get a urine test and drink plenty of water..
Bananas can help and avoid salt .
CRP test is also essential.

Flip flops can cause cyst on the pressure areas of it like what high heels do..
Try to wear more comfortable sneakers or shoes..
