I am having pain in a very specific part of my head for 1 year, seeing blue flash?

I am a 30 yr old female and started having a pain in a very specific part of my head. On the back right middle head and it’s only in a spot about the size of my fingertip. I’ve also begun seeing a blue flash every now and then (couple times a week) out of my right eye. The pain isn’t bad, probably a 2 out of 10 and it just lasts about 5 seconds then goes away and might come back a few time throughout the week. I’ve had thorough eye work ups with an ophthalmologist and so I do not have any eye problems. I just found it weird that the pain is in such a small isolated spot and keeps coming and going. It has not gotten worse since I first noticed it about a year ago.

Hi and welcome to question doctors .com
If you had all opthalamology tests came out free and retina free also..then you should get a brain MRI first before confirming that it is just associated with migraine headaches..

hi,
such complaints are usually seen after eye lesions.
But if opthalmology investigations are within normal limits, the CT scan of brain with EEG should be done for further evaluation.
Thanks

HI
YOU MAY HAVE SOME INTRA CRANIAL PATHOLOGY . SOMETIMES AFFECTIONS OF OPTIC NERVE CAN CAUSE SUCH COMPLAINTS.
GET MRI OF BRAIN DONE TO RULE OUT THESE PATHOLOGIES

hello there
at your age, these complaints are abnormal and you should go ahead with a MRI of brain to find out the exact reason behind this. depending on the report, further line of treatment can be thought upon.
consult a neurologist
