I am on the first trimester of pregnancy.and ultrasound report says there is no yolk sac and no heartbeat

Hello….
I am 30year.
I have 8week 5days pregnancy.
I got ultrasound report yesterday. In which they says that I have no yolk sac and no heartbeat. But fetal pole is present… Crl is .41
I am worried.. please help me to say that is it normal? I don’t have bleeding. I referred to next sonography after two weeks. Is it possible that next time they can see yolk sac and heartbeat. If they find same situation in next ultrasound then what? Is this a miscarriage sign for me. I had two miscarriage before this pregnancy. I have a daughter who is 5year old. Please help me by your reply….

Hi
yolk sac should disappear starting at the 10th week , heart beat should start at the 8th week, your doctor can not confirm if your baby is okay or not so instead of taking uncalculated action he choose to wait 2 weeks to see if Placenta develops and if heart beat can be detected, so it is a wait and see situation, if you already had 2 miscarriages then you should check your TSH, if it is above 3 then this oh s the reason for repeated miscarriages
Good Luck

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

Yes, it is correctly advised for you to wait for another 2 weeks..
Although by now the yolk sac and heartbeat should be registered..
But however the calculation of the gestational age can vary for a week or so..
So it is better to wait for 2weeks and then go for transvaginal ultrasound and Doppler study..

All the best..

Hi.
There’s no way there is a fetal pole with out a yolk sac. I don’t think that’s possible. The yolk sac can be hard to find sometimes but it had to have been there.
You have to wait for the next visit so we can detect the sac and the heart beat, I do not think it is a miscarriage.
Good luck

Hi..
I would also like to suggest you to avoid stress as it can be very harmful in your condition and along with it take a nutritious diet, appropriate sleep, drink ample of water and do meditation for calming your mind..

Wish you all the luck and a positive outcome..

Don’t worry
Its a lil but early to judge about the baby
Don’t overstress yourself

Miscarriage is an imp risk factor that we always should put in mind…
