I started coughing, had x ray, please explain results?

My Dr never mentioned anything about my chest x ray showings. Upon reading the report from the radiologist his report shows: biapical pleural thickening, perihilar interstitial prominence, mild hyperaeration. I don’t even know what any of this means. I haven’t had any symptoms until recently I started coughing and getting winded going up stairs, but aside from that I’m healthy.

Hi
In general your reading mean you have sputum in your chest, take bromhexine +1-2 liters of water before you sleep , put on lots of cloth (keep warm till you reach the point of sweating while you sleep)
You will be better
Also in general you need to try exhale as much air as you could few times a day to help clear your chest and avoid any increase in alveolar size
Good Luck

Hi..
Your symptoms can be due to a number of causes like severe allergen or toxin exposure, infection, inflammation etc..
So you should consult a Physician or an Emergency room and should be prescribed for a combination of antihistamine like Levocetrizine, mucolytics like Bromohexine/Ambroxol and decongestant like Phenylephrine..
Cough expectorant and a suppressant like Dextromethorphan should be advised..

Hope this helps..
