My fallopian tubes are blocked do you recommend I freeze my eggs?

HI I am a Female 6 days away from 33. 6 years ago I had an atopic pregnancy. Tried for years to get pregnant again only to find out that both of my fallopian tubes are blocked. The doctor told me my best bet is to just have them removed. Then do in vitro. I am not married and work two jobs. I am worried that I’m getting too old and time is slipping away. Do you recommend freezing my eggs. For when I’m ready to go along with the surgery?

laparoscopic surgery can open blocked tubes or remove scar tissue that is causing problems. If just a few adhesions are between the tubes and ovaries, then your chances of getting pregnant after surgery are good. If you have a blocked tube that is otherwise healthy, you have a 20% to 40% chance of getting pregnant after surgery. But if thick, multiple adhesions and scarring are between your tubes and ovaries, or if you have been diagnosed with hydrosalpinx, surgery may not be a good option for you. Hi
Yes freezing eggs is a good idea but remember that as you grow older successful egg implantation is harder and successful full term pregnancy is harder, success rate is at maximum 12.%
Not to mention the cost
Good Luck

hi,
pregnancies in late 30’s are pretty difficult with known complications.
Maximum you can give a try by laparoscopic re-canalisation of the tubes.
In a few cases, this may work.
If this does not help, then in vitro fertilisation is the only option and better to get it done before you complete 35 years of age.
thank you.
best wishes.

Hi..
First of all do not loose hope..

Will all the latest technologies and medical advancement you can conceive, so do not worry at all..

First of all you can go for laparoscopic surgery to open the blocked tubes..
There can be probability of conceiving naturally if tubes gets open..

You can try for atleast 3 months with proper follicular monitoring if the tubes gets open successfully..

In case if there is no success then you can go for IVF directly..

If still this does not work then think of freezing eggs..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
