Are there any risks of side effects?

- Care should be taken so that when operating potentially dangerous machinery the stimulator controls are not changed abruptly.
- Cases of skin irritation at the electrode site have been reported. Stimulation should be stopped and electrodes removed until the cause of the irritation can be determined.
- Electrodes should not be placed over the eyes, in the mouth, or internally.
