I had a sleeve gastronomy in 2012 and since then I have a pain in my elbow. It started as a sharp shock every time I swallowed but now it also can just hurt anytime, it sometimes keeps me awake at night, I don’t know what causes it but its only since I the operation….

I take Atorvastatin, Ergocalciferol, Ferrous fumarate, Lansoprazole, Levothyroxine sodium, Tranexamic, Zinc sulfate monohydrate and Metformin

The sleeve gastronomy procedure has nothing to do with the elbow pain as the nerves supplying them are not connected in anyway. There may be other local causes in and around the elbow causing the pain. If its bothering you much,then you should get an xray done. Consult a orthopedist. Thanks

IT COULD BE A REFFERD PAIN TO THE ELBOW. TAKE ANTI INFLAMMATORY TABLETS,ICE PACKS,LOCAL GEL APPLICATION . AVOID LIFTING ANYTHING HEAVY OR DOING ANYTHING STRENOUS BY THE AFFECTED HAND. GET AN XRAY DONE IF THE SYMPTOMS PERSIST

it seems to be soft tissue inflammation or a bursitis around elbow. A rare possibility is that of a raised uric acid blood levels causing a condition called gout. Get your blood checked. Possibilty of tennis elbow should be kept in mind.
