I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism 2 and a half years ago and have been taking methamazole, at a recent Dr visit i was told i have hypothyroidism and was put on Levothyroxin. my question is was i misdiagnosed or could my thyroid have changed in that 2 and a half years.

Hyperthyroidism can change to hypothyroidism in certain conditions like overdose of hyperthyroid medicine or in certain autoimmune disorders of thyroid..
But before I advise you further I would suggest you to upload your thyroid test reports so that I can advise you better..
Also you should consult an Endocrinologist and get evaluated so that further investigations can be advised..
