I just started taking Lisinopril 10mg per day for mild hypertension. I eat lots of fruits and vegetables that are high in potassium. How much is too much daily potassium. How much of a concern is this and do I have to change my diet to avoid ingesting too much?

Hi..
Thanks for the query..
Daily dietary Potassium intake should not be more than 4.7 grams until any deficiency is established and extra supplements are needed and should be only over prescription..
Taking a balanced diet can help in providing sufficient concentration of potassium..
Do not take excess of anything and if you have any doubt once get your potassium levels checked although I do not think they would have increased above normal range..
Hope this helps..
