Surgery for this type of cancer is the best option. At this stage the cancer may have grown through the wall. But results are often curative. Factors which will decide outcome are distance of nodes and if organs are involved. Nearby lymph nodes may also have to be removed. Further Chemotherapy may be required if there is a possibility of recurrence.
