My mother suffers from Polimyalgia Rheumatica, Osteoporosis, Hypertension and a heart murmur?

I am a caregiver to my 85 year old mother who suffers from Polimyalgia Rheumatica, Osteoporosis, Hypertension and a heart murmur. My question is dealing with her blood pressure. She is taking all the medications prescribed (Amlodipine, Losartan, Hydralazine, Isosorbide) routinely throughout the day and her pressure seems to be okay. In the evening though she starts to get this feeling that she has to vomit and she feels terrible. I took her blood pressure during this time and it was 188/92. She doesn’t eat anything at this time of night and I monitor/restrict any sodium intake throughout the day. Is there something that could be causing this that I could try at my end to resolve these “episodes”? Thank you in advance for your reply. Sincerely, (—)

Probably related to a digestive issue. Caffeine, sugar, grains consumed during the day can affect her during the evenings. Avoiding some of these foods may help. Based on trial and error you may be able to identify other foods which are causing the problem. Also digestive issues may be a side effect of the medications she is taking. Speak to your Doctor about possible alternatives and changing when she takes the medications. Other possibilities Constipation and Gastric Reflux Disease.

Hi.
Thanks for the query..

There is a possibility that she is either intolerant to any food that she is eating or any medicine that is causing her problem that she is specifically taking in the afternoon.

-Can you please tell that is her bowels fine, is she regularly having her bowels and not constipated?
-Is she having any history of allergy of any food intolerance?
-Also is her blood pressure high only at this time and fine other times during the day?

Please revert back with answers..

Regards.
