My mother has water in her lungs and in critical condition, what is the best course of action?

My mother was brought to the ER because of vomiting and difficulty breathing. The doctors found there was water in the lungs. She is in critical condition. What is the best course of action?

Female
Medications: levadopa/carbidopa, pramipexol
General Information: Suffers from Parkinsons disease

Your mother seems to have aspiration pneumonia with pulmonary edema. She needs to be brought to a 90% + oxygen saturation. Antibiotic and ventilatory intervention is recommended. At this stage an ABG analysis and CT thorax scan should be done for possible further treatment. Avoid all possible infections. Considering her advanced age, this is a very serious condition and treatment will be difficult.
