You need to have an MRI of the lumbar spine done and please upload it.
Unless the MRI shows a huge slipped disc or other major issues with the spine, you should not got choose surgery. Treatments such as physiotherapy, lumbar traction, laser therapy, back strengthening exercises etc can help.Try using a lumbar belt. Surgery for spine problems may help but in some cases does no good at all. So surgery benefits vs. harm needs to be evaluated properly.
