Hello, I am a 25 year old female, recently married. I am diagnosed with (heterozygous) Factor V Liden. My husband and I are trying to plan on when we want to start trying for kids. We want to wait, but I am reading up on how this can affect pregnancies and cause stillbirths and am feeling very nervous. I have never had any complications from Factor V, I only know that I have it because my mom does as well, and wanted me to get tested too. Will waiting put our possible babies more at risk?

considering the fact that your mom has it and still you are not having any problems in your life. That means its in a minor form. Same can be applicable to your kids. Even they may have it in their genes in minor form and most probably they also may have it in a minor form.

FROM THE HISTORY IT SEEMS THAT IT RUNS IN YOUR FAMILY AND THERE ARE HIGH CHANCES THAT EVEN YOUR CHILDREN WILL GET IT IN THEIR BLOOD. BUT AS YOU ARE PRETTY MUCH HEALTHY NOW, YOUR PREGNANCY SHOULD GO SMOOTHLY AND THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY RISK TO YOUR BABY.

Liden runs in families. Your babies too are at risk of having it. But they wont have any major bleeding disorders as such.
