I think I have a boil on my left side of my butt it hurts extremely like it’s swollen up I don’t know how to treat this I tried hot towel pressure but it doesn’t work. Do I need to go to the doctors or can I fix this at home

Hi there!This looks like a big boil.You may use topical and oral antibiotics.Do not pop it or squeeze it.If there is no response to antibiotics, incision and drainage of pus may be needed.Hot fomentation may be done at home.If problem persists get it examined by a doctor.Hope it helps. Best wishes!
