I currently have a sharp pain on the top right of my foot. I am currently trying to lose weight and have been working out. It hurts when I stand or rotate my ankle. I am unsure what is going on. I am trying to stay off of it but I have a job that requires me to walk for long periods of time. Please help if possible.

Sounds like an unusual pressure or force to the tendons that are located on top of your foot.
1. use ice compresses
2. make sure you are training with proper well fitted training shoes.
3. For now take time off your training until pain resolves.
4. Use OTC pain medication like Ibuprofen
5. Avoid tight fitting shoes and maximize rest
