Hi. I’ve been taking cortisone pills together with roacutane to reduce my facial acne. I was just wondering if the cortisone can suppress my growth in any way? I am currently 18 years old and take around 3/4-1 cortisone pill a week (not sure of the size of the pill). Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Steroids can retard growth in children to some extent but as you are already 18 years old, so by now the growth must have been considerably done now..
Also the dose you are taking is not high..
So do not worry but if you have any side effects you need to discuss with the doctor so that the steroids can be stopped..
