For the past two months I have been having breast pain?

I’m 27yo no PMH. For the past two months I have been having breast pain. My gynecologist sent me for a BL US of the breast and it came back negative. Not long after I started having tenderness and tingling around my left clavicle and neck. I do not feel any swollen lymph nodes. And I am still having breast pain. What do you think it could possibly be and when I go see my PCP should I ask for an MRI or CT scan? Thanks.

Hi
Are you taking any contraceptive drugs?
If not then my opinion is that you may have a thoracic inlet syndrome, especially if you have large breast or round shoulder
Good Luck

In my opinion it could be something related to the cervical or thoracic discs, pinched nerve or muscle spasms..
Ask for a cervical and thoracic xray or MRI ..
If lymph nodes and breast examination are negative then I exclude direct breast involvement.

hi,
this surely is a cervical slipped disc causing compression of spinal nerves that are supposed to travel down the breast region.
You need to get a MRI of the cervical spine done to confirm this.
Use cervical soft collar.
Physiotherapy, neck exercises and hot fomentation will help.
thanks
