Hi
This could be pancreatitis. Decreased appetite, fever, pain on lower left side are expected in pancreatitis.Get his ultrasonography done. Pancreatic amylase, alkaline phisphatase and liver function tests need to be done. He may also have urinary tract infection. Give him plenty of fluids to drink and start him on antibiotics and digestive enzymes. Consult a gastroenterologist.
Thanks

HI
PAIN WHILE URINATING AND CONCOMITTANT LOWER QUADRANT PAIN CAN OCCUR DUE TO A URETERIC CALCULUS. HOWEVER SPLENIC ENLARGEMENT OR LARGE INTESTINE DISEASES SHOULD BE KEPT IN MIND. DESCENDING COLON,SIGMOID COLON CONDITIONS CAN PRESENT IN THIS WAY. A CT ABDOMEN WILL GIVE A CLUE.

hello there

your dad may be having some intra abdominal pathology causing the pain. needs a abdominal scan to come to a diagnosis. feeling tired, nausea, weight loss can be due to abdominal koch’s. Get his blood checked for IgG, IgM and ELISA for kochs. A ct scan of abdomen with contrast will be helpful to rule out other pathologies

Hi and welcome to questiondictors.com
If he is feverish and a swelling is present in his lower limb you need to take him to ER to check with doplex for venous disorder and some kidney function tests..
