I am having a vibration like effect in my upper left chest area – I am quite worried

Hi. I am 26 year old male. And since 5-6 days I am having a vibration like effect in my upper left chest area. It occurs on random timings and lasts for sometime or even couple of hours. First I thought this is due to acidity but isn’t. I also have minor cough. Current heart rate – 76-80 BPM I want to know due to what this is occurring and the solution to this. I am quite worried about it. And also this is not gastritis.

Hi Your symptoms and signs are not indicating a serious issue in my opinion, your heart rate is normal (you might be a bit anxious) that would make it a bit high… if the vibration you feel is palpable or seen then it is likely due to anxiety or having no rest or taking some medications or caffeine… If it is a palpitation from inside your chest then it would be something else…either anxiety related also or cardiac or chest issue which may need further follow up… Please feel free to clarify any other symptoms so we can help you…’… Read more »

hi
if you feel that this isnt due to gastritis, then this can occur due to heart beat variations, palpitations or some minor heart related issues.
Better to consult a physician and get ecg and if necessary, echo done to rule out the cardiac causes. If these reports turn out to be normal, then its muscular or nerve related pain. local gels and hot fomentation will help.
thanks

HI
THIS SEEMS TO BE A MUSCLE RELATED EFFECT. THIS OCCURS DUE TO MUSCLE WEAKNESS IN THOSE REGIONS OR AN INFLAMMED NERVE CAUSING MUSCLE FASCICULATIONS / VIBRATIONS. THESE ARE GENERALLY TEMPORARY.STRETCHING EXERCISES ARE KNOWN TO HELP IT.
