I believe my thyroid is enlarged, please advise?

Hello. I believe my thyroid is enlarged as there is a hard lump slightly below the Adam’s apple. I’ve attached a google drive video showing both a side and front view of the neck while swallowing.

Hello. I believe you are looking at and referring to the cartilage rather than the actual thyroid gland.
The gland is located here: https://questiondoctors.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/thyroid-gland-location-e1516329190848.jpg It is necessary to feel the thyroid gland rather than look at it. Check if both sides are the same size and if one is harder than the other. Has it increased size. If you have doubts a thyroid blood test and scan will confirm any problem. Thank you.

Hello
If like that please get an Ultrasound scan done to know if the thyroid gland has swollen up or not

Hi..
It is not looking like thyroid swelling.
For further confirmation you should get a clinical examination and ultrasound done..

Hope this helps..

Regards.

Hello. Perhaps the video is not clear. I’ve outlined the areas I can feel the lumps in the picture below. They are about the size of a marble and can be felt more on the sides. Am I mistaken in thinking this is the thyroid gland?

Palpating is used to locate thyroid. You are pointing more towards cricoid cartilage. That’s where thyroid gland begins.
