I get lots of sharp cramps where I believe my ovaries may be?

Hello, I’ve been diagnosed with PCOS a year or 2 ago. In may I went to see an endocrinologist and was put on 1,000 mgs of metformin. I haven’t had a period since January and the metformin isn’t doing much. I get lots of sharp cramps where I believe my ovaries may be.

hi
even i agree that metformin is not working, or else you wouldnt have been having these symptoms now.
you can get a usg scan done now to see the status of pcos. according to the report, you can switch over to other line of treatment. consult a gynecologist.

the pain is spasmodic, so you should take anti spasmodic analgesics. hot fomentation may help.
thanks

HI
IF METFORMIN IS NOT WORKING THEN THERE IS NO POINT IN CONTINUING IT. AFTER TAKING IT FOR SO MANY DAYS THE PAIN SHOULD HAVE GONE BY NOW.
A RECENT USG SCAN OF THE OVARIES WILL GIVE A BETTER IDEA
