I have a line that has formed on my forehead due to wearing a tight wave cap?

I have a line that has formed on my forehead due to wearing a tight wave cap too long and it won’t go away. It has now formed tiny zits or bumps on it. I don’t know how to get rid of it. I have tried to apply medical cream and cocoa butter on it, but it seems to not do anything for it. It is very noticeable and I would like to get rid of it immediately.

Hello. The pus filled breakout is caused by blocked oil glands. Keeping the area cleansed and using warm water compresses for 20 minutes several times a day will help. An Over the counter acne cleanser can help: benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. Do not pop them. If they don’t disappear you may need prescription medication from your Doctor. Hi.
Thanks for the query.

The skin in the area is appearing to be inflamed and infected leading to thickening and swelling of skin as well as the white bumps are pus filled pustules due to infection.

The haid follicles might also be infected causing pustules formation.

For now keep tge area clean and continue applying antiseptic ointment.

Also do alternate warm and cool compresses over it

Apply petroleum jelly or aloevera gel to keep it lubricated and softened.

If it still does not improve consult a Skin specialist or a Dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope this helps..

Rahul.
