I have abdominal pain,nausea,difficulty in swelling causing occasional choking?

I have abdominal pain,nausea,difficulty in swelling causing occasional choking cough.metal mouth taste,burping and today I collapsed in the kitchen.What could it be.i also have a bloated stomach. I have been taking the gaviscon I’ve had previously but hasn’t had any effect.

Age: 60
Female
Medications: Lamotrigine,simvastatin and ramipril.i
No
General Information: I did have an endoscopy quite a few years ago for hiatus hernia and was put on omeprazole.I am epileptic.

Could be due to a number of problems.Maybe just a pronounced case of acid reflux. But if you have fainted and have choking episodes I would not hesitate and consult right away. Go to an ER for further investigation.

Hi.
Thanks for the query..

Your symptoms can be due to GERD or Hiatal hernia only but choking and collapsing can be due to your problem of Epilepsy or some other issue that needs to be checked..

You should continue taking Omeprazole and along with it take Simethicone to reduce bloating..

Take small frequent meals and avoid spicy and acidic foods.

Drink plenty of water and take walk after meals..

Sleep with head slightly raised as compared to feet..
