A cough lasting 2 months needs to be checked out. Get a lung x-ray done…to be on the safe side.

Antihistamines may help with allergic reaction but a 2months cough may have indicate other disorders like chest bronchitis or other infection …is your cough productive ?
I recommend a xray and a visit to the pulmonologist..
