I have lymp nod on my left sides, swelling near my left ear and a small lump, random chest pains

Hello I was wondering where could cause the lymp nod on my left side of neck under jaw to be swollen for 4+ months I have taken amoxicillin and augmentan an neither helped it sometimes is tender other times not I also have some swelling near my left ear and a small lump the back of my neck that was big an sore bit now small it has been there a month or so. I also get random chest pains but think that maybe asthma/anxiety

Hi and welcome to question doctors.com the possibility is having a chronic sinusitis is high ..so you need to see an ENT specialist ..
Other wise know that these antibiotic is to some degree not effective for treating anaerobic bacteria so you need to ask a specialist about the suitable for you.
If non if these then you should get US in your lymph node to measure their sizes and may be a biopsy later..

hi,
lymph node enlargement for more than 4 months has to be due to some reason. chest pain may be due to some pathological infective lesion inside the lungs. you should get a chest xray and a HRCT chest to come to a diagnosis.
consult a chest physician. get complete blood count done to see for any derangements.

Hello there
Asthma wont cause lymph node enlargement for so many days. This is a sign of unresolving infection in the chest. Get the lymph node biopsy and histopathology done to confirm the diagnosis

THIS MAY BE RELATED TO EAR INFECTION..EITHER MIDDLE OR INNER EAR. MASTOIDITIS CAN ALSO PRESENT IN SIMILAR FASHION. CONSULT A ENT SPECIALIST.
THIS INFECTION CAN LEAD TO SURROUNDING LYMPH NODE ENLARGEMENT
