I have what looks like a splinter hemorrhage on my thumbnail?

I have what looks like a splinter hemorrhage on my thumbnail, but it runs diagonally. It measures about 2mm by .75mm. I can’t find any pictures online of diagonal lines. I’m wondering if it could still be such a hemorrhage or is likely to be something else.

Looks like a trauma induced hemorrhage. See how it progresses as thumbnail grows out. If it follows the growth of nail, nothing to be concerned about. If the spot grows in another way or enlarges you should consult.
