Hi
From this xray, it seems that the disc space between the L4-L5 and L5-S1 vertebrae are reduced in height, suggesting of a probable disc prolapse.there seems to be a paraspinal muscle spasm as well However clinical correlation and mri is suggested to confirm the diagnosis.
it would have been better if you could have posted a lateral view of the spine xray as well.let me know the exact complaints of the patient
thanks
Hi…
Actually we can not judge well the xray from only one view.. we need to see Lateral view to get a full picture.. from this xray it seems there is either spondylosis of Lumar 4,5,Sacral 1 I also doubt a sacralisation of L5 but it will be confirmed from lateral view
HI
NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOUR PRESENTING COMPLAINTS ARE XRAY SHOWS REDUCTION IN LOWER LUMBAR DISC SPACES WITH MINIMAL WEDGING. DOESNT SEEM TO BE ANYTHING GROSSLY WRONG. HOWEVER AN MRI CAN BE DONE TO GET BETTER IDEA
