I’ve had swollen lymph nodes on the back of my neck, vomiting, and fever?

I am an 19 year old male. About a month ago I was sick throwing up and a fever for about a week & I lost about 10 lbs. I’m feeling good now, I went and got blood work done two weeks ago and my cholesterol and liver enzymes are high, and for the past week I’ve had swollen lymph nodes on the back of my neck. They don’t hurt or anything but in not sure what’s going on. Is it HIV, or cancer or something?

Hi and welcome to question doctors .com
If you are overweight or fatty you may be having high cholesterol and liver enzymes which needs to be lowered by diet and healthy life style and avoiding junk and fatty foods..
You may have had gastroenteritis or something that has gone away…
Having a swollen lymph is not always a cause of concern unless there is other symptoms accompanied with it..
You can get a new complete blood picture and follow up with results here so we can understand what exactly is going on…

hi
hiv cancer are rare possibilities and u should not be thinking about these diseases right now. These symtoms may be due to the infection that u have had and u are in a recovery phase now. These enlarged lymph nodes usually resolve spontaneously. If they become painful, get a lymph node biopsy done
thanks

HI
I DO NOT FEEL THIS IS HIV/CANCER. THE SYMPTOMS AND THE SIGNS ARE LOCAL CONFINED TO THE AREA CONCERNED,WHILE IN CANCER/HIV THE SYMPTOMS AND SIGNS ARE SPREAD OUT IN WHOLE BODY. GET YOUR BLOOD CHECKED TO BE ON SAFER SIDE.

hello there
raised cholesterol and liver enzymes suggests liver dysfunction. get ct scan of abdomen done to see any liver abnormalities. hiv cancer seems less likely, but can be a hepatitis.
