In my opinion doctor may need to remove pus and debris from the ear with gentle cleaning or suction ,This will allow the ear drops to work more effectively
Also check for fungal infection which can cause bacterial infection to be recurrent
Ciprodex does not treat fungal infections
Good luck
Also oral antibiotics may be needed
For me you have to do your best to prevent recurrent infection…
A homemade ear drip mix of 50% rubbing alcohol, 25% white vinegar, and 25% distilled water can be used to slightly acidify the ear canal can be used for prevention of infections as well as mild infection caused by bacteria or fungus.
Keep ear dry and free of wax.
You can use hair dryer on low speed to dry your ear canal after swimming or shower.
Thanks..
hi
there seems to be a remnant infection inspite of using ciprodex.
try changing cyprodex and use other anti bacterial drug.
maintain good hygiene.
thanks
HI
CIPRODEX COVERS VERY LESS ORGANISMS .
TRY CHANGING IT.
LOCAL CLEANLINESS AND KEEPING THE SKIN DRY IS THE MAINSTAY OF THE TREATMENT.
hello there
underlying fungal infection is likely.
take anti fungal tablets along with application of local anti fungal creams.
take vitamin C tablets
