Bad asthma flare up, no signs of mononucleosis, white blood cell count was low, any ideas?

I have been suffering from fatigue for almost four weeks since recovering from a mild cold (no colored phlegm) with a bad asthma flare up with temp of 99.9 at first that has since stopped. They gave me a Z-pack just in case there was an infection and a breathing treatment coupled with methlpredisone pack to calm down my lungs. My current and only symptoms are a further decrease in energy, little appetite a swollen lymph node under one side of my jaw, canker sores, and Rosacea/acne break out on my face and forehead. Recent blood work by urgent care showed no signs of Mono ( I had it twenty years ago and symptoms seemed similar minus a sore throat) but they found that my white blood cell count was low. They want me take Augmentin now and return for a follow up with my doctor. Any ideas? Female, teacher, age 41, non-smoker non-drinker healthy weight, diet and lifestyle.

hi
low wbcs means low immunity. This is causing the symptoms. Taking augmentin will help surely,but immunity should increase. Take healthy diet,plenty of fruits with vitamin C,multi vitamin supplements will help.
avoid taking methyl prednisolone unless it is really indicated.

ASTHMA FLARE UP SEEMS TO HAVE TRIGGERED THE OTHER SYMPTOMS. NOW,THAT YOU HAVE STARTED ON ANTIBIOTICS,ALL OTHER SYMPTOMS SHOULD SETTLE DOWN.MONONUCLEOSIS HAS ALREADY BEEN RULED OUT. YOU CAN APPLY LOCAL CREAMS FOR THE RASH.
MEDITATION AND EXERCISES SHOULD HELP YOU PREVENT GETTING THESE SYMPTOMS AGAIN.

low wbcs are a sign that your body immune system is very weak and is unable to tackle the infections that enter your body. that is why you need to take higher antibiotics like augmentin. though you may get better with augmentin now,in long term you need to concentrate on increasing your body immunity

It seems that the problem now is just low immunity ..vitamin and mineral deficiency …
All what you need is to get enough vitamins and minerals by eating healthy rich vitamin food ..specially fruits..vegetables and poultry for b12 and stress on green leafy vegetables..drink plenty of water and take bee honey as well as dates(fruit)..
