I had a dull pain in my lower right stomach, need a second opinion?

26 year old female. Regular relationship, no kids, birth control since 16. Around three months ago I had a dull pain in my lower right stomach pop up followed my what seemed to be two heavy periods in one month. I have been checked for appendicitis and it wasn’t that. I haven’t had a period since. My blood tests were only slightly off leaning towards diabetes. My white cell count was slightly off then seemed to get better. The pain began moving to and from my groin. I went back to the doc and it seems my inguinal lymph node is swollen and won’t go down. I’ve noticed my left boob feels heavy and fuller but doesn’t hurt. The doc thinks I have pcos and may have a cyst but would it give me trouble for this long? Also I’m supposed to get my thyroid checked, could this be related?

In my opinion ..yes it is related and pcos can be the cause of your symptoms..
It should be diagnosed by US and you can check gir thyroid dysfunction also but it deems more like pcos or a bigger ovarian cyst. Your gynaecologist should see you as soon as you can

In my opinion right ovarian cysts can explain your symptoms
I recommend you check it first by ultrasound
Cysts can be caused by long term birth control pills or shots
I recommend you change you birth control method

Good Luck

hi
birth control pills are known to cause side effects like pcos due to the gross hormonal disturbances.
get a ultrasound abdomen to see for the size and number of the ovarian cysts.
you may need change in the hormonal therapy or surgery for PCOS depending upon the usg report.
thanks

HI
PCOS IS THE CAUSE FOR THIS DULL PAIN FOR SURE.
UNLESS PCOS IS TREATED COMPLETELY,THE PAIN WONT GO AWAY.
TREATMENT OPTIONS ARE-
1. MEDICINES- FOR MINOR SMALL SIZED CYSTS.
2. LAPARASCOPY- FOR BIGGER CYSTS.

hello there
my opinion is that the pain may be due to PCOS.
a possibility of renal calculus should be kept in mind.
ultrasound abdomen will help differentiate between the two.
