Hi and welcome to question doctors .com
You are suffering a lower back muscle strain …
You should start hot application ,deep friction massage over the site of strain by a physiotherapist and ultrasound therapy…
Hot showers and baths will help..
If the pain radiated to your leg or thigh you need a MRI done..

hi
if the pain has started after lifting heavy weight then there are chances that this may be a intervertebral disc prolapse. Get a mri of lumbar spine done to confirm the diagnosis, consult a orthopedist.
use lumbar belt support . hot fomentation and local gel application should help.
thanks

Hello there
Only pain killers won’t be enough. u should take muscle relaxants as well. Physiotherapy exercises will help. Mri of the spine will help you rule out any underlying pathology related to spine
