I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, no node involvement, I have a raised creative kinase, can this indicate secondary cancer? I am 40, 38 when diagnosed, on tamoxifen and had a double mastectomy

hi
raised creatine kinase can cause due to variety of other reasons. i dont think this is due to any secondary or metastatic cancer. you may need other investigations though to confirm the diagnosis.consult a physician.
thanks
HI
CREATINE KINASE IS ASSOCIATED WITH TUMOUR CELLS AND ITS PRESENCE IN BLOOD IN HIGH LEVELS SHOULD WARRANT FURTHER INVESTIGATIONS. TUMOR MARKERS IN BLOOD SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED TO FIND OUT IF THERE IS ANY POSSIBILITY OF A SECONDARY CANCER
hello there
you do not seem to be having any other symptoms of secondary cancer, either through lymphatics or hematological transmission. there may be other causes for creatine kinase to be raised. a endocrinologist opinion would be helpful
It is a possibility but not a condition …you need further investigations specially tumor markers to make sure whether there is secondary metastasis or something else..
