I am 44yr old Female and For months I haven’t been able to lift my arm above my shoulder and was suffering pain throughout upper and lower muscles of my left arm… I can’t put any weight on it and have ruled out rotator cuff…. steroid injection and physio, ibruprohen and anti inflamatories no effect it is getting worse to the point pain occurs without movement and is enough to take my breath away, also recently noticed swelling to the left of my left breast and my under arm is tender..

Iit is advised to try different techniques in physiotherapy like hydrotherapy laser ..ultra sound ..short wave plus manual techniques..
Concerning the breast issue it is important to see a gynaecologist for assessing the. Swelling and tenderness .
Steroid injection would give you a breif time of no pain then pain will come stronger
I suggest stopping it
You clearly have frozen shoulder with suspicion of supraspinates partial or complete tear
Any way u need an MRI to confirm and i advise to stick to good physical therapist

YOU SHOULD FIRST GET AN MRI DONE TO CONFIRM THE DIAGNOSIS. DEPENDING UPON THE REPORT,PHYSIOTHERAPY,LASER OR MANIPULATION UNDER GENERAL ANESTHESIA WILL BE THE OPTIONS

this is due to adhesive capsulitis,also known as frozen shoulder. agressive physiotherapy is the only option. consult a orthopedist. avoid taking frequent steroid injections as it may weaken the muscles and cause early arthritis. get xray done to rule out primary osteoarthritis of shoulder joint.

needs vigorous physiotherapy and exercises, will take 2-3 months to heal. arthoscopic adhesions removal can be done.
