I have been having nosebleeds recently. I have had about six nose bleeding episodes in the last 7 months and in the past 5 days my nose was bleeding badly. Today it stopped but I am really worried. Thinking if it starts bleeding again I will go the ER. please tell me what can be the cause of these nosebleeds I get? thanks in advance.

If you are on a anticoagulant or blood thinner medication like Coumadin (warfarin), your nosebleeds may be caused by this. 2. Hypertension is also a known contributory factor to epistaxis. 3. Dry air — when your nasal membranes are dry you are more susceptible to bleeding and infections. Your doctor will probably request you consult an ENT and undergo an Ear, Nose and Throat Examination. Im not a doctor but NSAID’s can cause these. Are you taking these?
