It is obstruction of renal space ( the inside of the kidney)
Doctor probably suspects down syndrome so he does not want to risk neck injury for the baby in a normal delivery

They are all speculations
No reason to worry
He is just trying to expect the worse and be ready for it

Good Luck

hi
it means dilatation of the kidney pelvicalyceal system.
Usually it involves more amount of risk if you want to go for normal delivery.
Even i feel, that to be on the safer side, you should avoid undergoing a normal delivery.
thanks

HI
I DISAGREE . NORMAL DELIVERY IS STILL POSSIBLE. BUT NEEDS TO BE DONE WITH UTMOST CARE AND PRECISION.
CONTINUOUS MONITORING IS NEEDED.
