I’m 77 years old should I do a cardiac catheterization angiogram, need second opinion?

I am a 77 year old man with one kidney I was recently hospitalized they think that I had a silent heart attack but it’s now been 2 months I’ve been out everything is improve the doctor say by kidneys doing better my blood pressure is good my livers good everything looks like it’s improving but now they’re telling me they want to do a cardiac catheterization angiogram and I just feel like maybe it’s not necessary because I’m older and I don’t know if I should be doing that and I’m making improvements so why do I need to do that procedure

Hi
In order to give you the perfect answer I need to see your echo, EMG results, however may be they waited for you to improve to do the catheterization to make sure it is not life threatening
Good Luck

Actually you have to ask them for your echo results as that is the only way to know why do they need to to catheterization!! so if you can send them or write the report this will help giving you second opinion on right basis..
