In a lot of pain. I get to the point we’re standing up is a problem and laying in bed is extremely uncomfortable?

Hi my name is (…). I’m female and 18 year of age. And I’m on no medications. My problem is I’ve had this on going pain for about a year. My lower back, hip, butt, and leg have been in a lot of pain. I get to the point we’re standing up is a problem and laying in bed is extremely uncomfortable. I’d say the pain is a 6, and at times a 8-9; and it get so bad I’m in tears leaning on something just waiting for the pain to pass. Sometimes my whole left leg will go numb or tingly. Also walking has become a problem in the past month, November, my leg gets achy and it hurts.

In my opinion you have sciatica related to disc lesion in your lumber vertebra
In your age the most common way to have such injury is if you jumped alot recently
You can confirm by doing an MRI scan
I suggest avoiding sitting unless it is long sitting with legs extended and back supported , sleep in hip , knee 90 degree flextion
If you have to stand or walk slite trunk leaning forwards should help
Start on anti inflammatory 3 times a day for at least a week , also rest for a week is adviced followed by professional physical therapy

Good Luck

Clinically I would recommend a MRI as I suspect a lumbar disc prolapse or a piriformis syndrome ..
Do a piriformis muscle stretch by lying on your back and flexing one leg while crossing the other leg over it and the heel is on the knee ..then pull both of them towards your chest with deep breathing and hold 30 seconds ..repeat 5times.

hi
at your age, these symptoms are significant and should not be neglected.
most probably it is due to a slipped lumbar disc causing nerve compression.
You need a immediate MRI.
start with physiotherapy.
thanks

HI
SCIATICA OR LUMBAR DISC PROLAPSE ARE THE PROBABLE DIAGNOSIS.
GET XRAY AND MRI OF LUMBAR SPINE DONE. CONSULT A ORTHOPEDIST.
USE LUMBAR BELT,TAKE METHYCOBALAMIN AND PREGABALIN TABLETS.

hello there
the back nerve and muscle may have been unduely stretched and inflammed.
take rest,use back belt.
if this isnt helping, you need an mri of the back region.
