It’s been 6 weeks since I had my surgery to my acl and meniscus, today my leg popped ?

Hi doctor I’m 24 and male, and I’m taking no medication.
It’s been 6 weeks since I had my surgery to my acl and meniscus on my right leg in which I had a hamstring graft…
to day I went up the stairs a little faster than usual and a massive pop went behind my leg which was very very painful I would say 7/10 pain
It happened on my right leg where my leg bends which I think might be the Semitedinosus.
I can walk on my leg fine but I’m in pain when bending down!
What could this be?

Hi and welcome to question doctors.com
So far if no symptoms has shown IP..I think this is a muscle strain that needs to be managed by ice ..rest..elevation of limb and using anti inflammatory local gels ..then physiotherapy in firm if US and deep friction massage..laser ..
Please let me know if any other symptoms came out…

hi
this may be due to muscle strain or a parital tear. Get an ultrasound done. If its normal, compression bandage, rest, analgesics, ice packs and leg elevation will help.
Thanks

hello there
this may be due to exudation of collected hematoma during surgery. apply knee cap and take fibrinolytic enzyme tablets.if this doesnt help, consult the operating surgeon
