I was told I had a kidney infection, I still have the pain but ultrasound says no infection?

For a month I have been having severe back pain worsens when I eat but always around. I have been having migraines, nauseous, dizzy, sleep a lot, abdominal pain, bloated beyond belief , acid reflex. I was told I had a kidney infection and took medication for it. However, I still have the pain. I had an ultrasound of my kidneys and gallbladder with blood work and everything came back fine. I was diagnosed with PCOS a couple years ago and am positive I am not pregnant. I was told today to go to the gynecologist because it could be my ovaries. Very lost and in so much pain. Help

Hi and welcome to question doctors.com
I think you might have had kidney infection buy you still have IBS or spastic colon…
Your bloating .acid reflux.nausea and abdominal pain are all symptoms for that…
Generally avoid caffeine,spicy foods.and fatty foods…
Get a USG for abdomen and pelvis..

hi
This does not seem to be related to any kidney issue. Gynecological problems related to ovaries, uterus, fallopian tubes etc can cause such kind of pain. Do consult a gynecologist and get it diagnosed. A usg scan may be helpful.

HI
THIS MAY BE A OVARIAN PAIN DUE TO THE UNDERLYING PCOS. THE PCOS MAY HAVE FLARED UP RECENTLY CAUSING THE PAIN. A ABDOMINAL SCAN WILL GET YOU TO THE CAUSE OF PAIN. IF ITS PCOS RELATED PAIN,YOU NEED TO TAKE PROPER MEDICINES TO GET IT CURED

hello there
its a spasmodic type of pain and can be caused by many gynecological reasons. Most common cause can be a pelvic inflammatory disease. You need to get it checked from a doctor. Anti spasmodic tablets and local gel can help.
analgesic tablets should be taken only if the pain is severe
