My husband woke up yesterday morning with pain in his thigh area. This morning he woke up with pain all over. He went to the doctor and they said it’s a viral issue. Now he crying out in pain, his muscles are tense like he’s lifting a 100lb weight. He tried to grab a phone and dropped it. He is saying he hurts all over and the doctor would prescribe him pain meds, he took some of my 800mg ibuprofen and it hasn’t helped a bit. What should we do? He can barely move, and definitely can’t sleep.

Pain intensity 9 on a scale of 1-10
No health issues

In my opinion this fast onset can not not be explained by any virus , also where is the rash and fever ?
I suspect renal failure
Check his kidney functions
ASAP
Good Luck
hi
this can be a generalised infection causing the muscles and soft tissues to get inflammed.
get his complete blood count done.
start on anti inflammatory tablets and ask him to drink plenty of fluids and water.
thanks
HI
IF IBUPROFEN IS NOT HELPING THEN YOU NEED TO CONSULT A PHYSICIAN.
GET THE CONDITION DIAGNOSED BY UNDERGOING PROPER INVESTIGATIONS.
GET THYROID AND LIVER FUNCTION TESTS DONE.
hello there
this can be due to blood count disturbances. his WBCs may be raised or platelets may be low. get blood checked.
start on antibiotics if ibupfofen isnt helping.
