I was recently in Puerto Rico and got really bad rash on my buttocks. I was sitting at night on the beach without a towel and after 7 days I start getting these itchy red bumps. My coworker that is from Puerto Rico told me that I most likely got bite by sand fleas
I was at the Doctors office few days ago and got Hydrocortisone 2.5% and Mupirocin Ointment USP 2% but it’s not really helping pharmacy also ordered for me ivermectin pills that I will get today.. he gave me these because he thought it’s Cutaneous larva migrans but he wasn’t sure so maybe my coworker that is from there is more right..
Can please help me? What should I do to make them go away?

hi.
it may be dermatitis with secondary infection. Apply skin nouishing moisturisers and local anti fungal creams . if symptoms worsen or if the skin starts to peel off,you need to consult a dermatologist.
thanks
HI
YES,IT DOES SEEM TO BE DUE TO CUTANEOUS LARVA MIGRANS. APPLY LOCAL CREAMS ALONG WITH ANTI-HELMINTHIC TABLETS. DO NOT RUB OR SCRATCH THE AFFECTED PART.
APPLY OLIVE OIL DURING NIGHT TIME
hello there
this occurs especially in people with dry skin which is more prone to atopic dermatitis. allergic rashes are quite common and applying local anti allergic creams with steroid base will be helpful
