For the past 3 weeks, I have been getting these sharp, stabbing pains in and between my shoulder blades with the pain in between being the most severe. They come and go but they are usually accompanied by nausea and last between 30-60 minutes. In the past, I’ve had my gallbladder removed and pancreatitis 3 times but I don’t have a fever and I’m not vomiting so I don’t think pancreatitis is the cause. I’ve tried treating it like a strained muscle but the “attacks” are just becoming more frequent

HI.. In your case,i see 3 possibilities- POSSIBILITY 1. SOFT TISSUE INFLAMMATION- there may be no bony involvement,only the soft tissues around the region might be inflammed that may be causing the pain POSSIBILITY 2. NEUROPATHY- there may be a partial or complete inflammation of the nerves in that region that may be the root cause of such kind of pain. POSSIBILITY 3.
