Also the baby is never in a different position during sonograms. This is the picture we always get of the end of her spine and he thinks it’s the best picture we have.

Sorry but yes spine ends early, unfortunately this view is not helpful as we will need a frontal view instead of the sagittal view you provided, your main concern will be your baby ability to use his legs (like in spina bifida)

The spine is steep ending or is abruptly ending..
You should get regular followup done for looking for how it grows further..
Also upload frontal view for further confirmation..

This is unfortunately weird however try getting frontal view for a better vision..
It could be spina bifida but we need to make sure by another view.sorry for this..
