I had a cystoscopy for a prostatic enlargement, please advise?

Hi.
I am 65 year old. I referred to the clinic for pain while urinating. I saw a drop of blood later. The urologist required a cystoscopy. The final diagnosis read “Malignant neoplasm of bladder, part unspecified 188.9”. The doctor asserts me that i have no problems with the exception of a prostatic enlargement and gave me medicine for that.
I am worried about the final diagnosis.
Can you explain this to me with some plain English?
Thanks.

Hi
Malignant neoplasm of bladder is it usually a cancer affecting the inner surface if bladder, it usually grow very slow and does not spread
The pain and blood can hardly be caused by such cancer, so you can focus on the Malignant neoplasm of bladder after you have treated the enlarged prostate pressing problem
Good Luck

Hi..
Yes prostrate enlargement is a diagnosis but along with it the neoplasia cannot be ignored..
Get treated for the prostrate enlargement but along with it consult an Oncologist once for further diagnosis of the bladder cancer..

Regards..
