I had a minor heart attack/myocardial infarction?

Hi, I am a 25 year old male. I have been very fatigued for about a week and having numbness in my left arm and chest pain and shortness of breath. About three days ago I felt like I was going to pass out. I had time to go to a urgent care today and they advised going to the ER. The ER did a EKG and said they think I had a minor heart attack/myocardial infarction. My chest X-ray and cardiac enzymes were normal so they said I am stable now and can return to normal activity but to follow up with a cardiologist. Is this correct or is the EKG just affected by being nervous about being in the ER

Hi
Your ekg show an infarction in left anterior decending artery , which is not a life threatening condition , I recommend follow up to avoid cardiac infarction
Good Luck

The ECG is showing really infarction ,you need to redo it with follow ups,the ECG also shows signs of nervousness when you were in the ER but this is different..

hi,
there seems to be a mixed picture here.
Inferior wall infarction with nervousness are the observations.
A repeat EKG with a stress TMT and 2-D echo will be helpful to assess the severity of the condition.

Hi..
The ECG changes from normal are not only due to anxiety and is an indication of cardiac problem..
You should immediately consult a Cardiologist and get evaluated and an Echocardiogram can be done for ruling out the exact cause and then you can be proceeded towards treatment.

Hope this helps..

Regards.
