I have all the classic signs of hypothyroidism, fatigue, inability to lose weight, dependent edema, dry skin, constipation, always cold and difficulty focusing. I had lab work done doc says its normal(TSH 0.91; T4 6.32; T3 96.38; FT32.68; and FT4 1.05). Do you have any suggestions of where to go from here?

Hi
Next step in my opinion is to investigate you cortisol levels to check for cushing syndrome so I recommend low-dose dexamethasone suppression test or a 24-Hour urine collection to quantitate cortisol levels also check GFR and blood electrolytes
I can be with you for follow up
Good Luck
Those symptoms can be simply due to anaemia?
Have you done a CBC test?
Other possibilities are diabetes ..
I recommend CBC and cortisol tests also.
hi,
thyroid disturbance is just one of the reasons for these symptoms, not the only cause.
you need to get a detailed hormonal check up with complete hemogram, serum electrolytes and vitamin D levels done.
USG abdomen and Chest Xray will help.
start on vitamin D and calcium supplements.
thanks
