My symptons are: have difficulty going up and down stairs, difficulty getting up from chairs, my hands ,fore arms go numb and makes it difficult to use hands and causes a deep burning pain. When I go to bed my hips and thighs go numb and cause pain so I am turning all night. This happens on both sides. I have pain in my feetc. Sometimes shooting pains and sometimes up the back of heels which causes me to limp. Please help. These symptons still exist even on meds.

Hi .
It aeema you need to see your doctor as the dose of steroids needs to be changed.
Generally the prognosis of your case is good so do not worry ..
Anti inflammatory gels can be used under ultra sound therapy.

hi
this disease tends to have such symptoms in varying intensity. taking steroids for longer periods of time can cause serious side effects. try avoiding it.
physiotherpy, exercises, hot fomentation should be the mainstay of treatment.
thanks

HI
I SUGGEST YOU TO TAKE SYMPTOMATIC TREATMENT, DEPENDING UPON THE SITE OF PAIN,USE PAIN KILLERS. KEEP IN MIND THE POSSIBILITY OF AUTO IMMUNE DISEASE.
CONSULT A ENDOCRINOLOGIST.

hello there
you are taking medicines that work temporarily. Take DMARDs,these modify the disease process to some extent and help control the disease at cellular level so that you won’t need to take painkiller medicines in high doses.
