I was diagnosed as Type-II diabetes, can you help?

10 years back I was diagnosed as Type-II diabetic patient and my doc advised me to take Lantus Insulin. After some trial and error 16 units was decided.
Now for some months I am noticing that my sugar is around 200 for fasting and 265 as PP.
Now I am taking Triglycomet in the morning and 18units lantus insulin at night.
Please suggest.

hi..
your body has now got used to insulin as you have been taking it for almost 10 years. thats why,its effectiveness has reduced.
if you are taking triglycomet and insulin combination, the it will work fine for you. nothing to worry.
just keep a watch on sugar levels till your body readjusts to this new dosage.
thanks
